Jeremy Way

design architect

more than just a
pretty design

Apart from wielding Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign like a gunslinger, my skills go beyond tasteful colours and typefaces. I get to the heart of design: the identity, the experience, and the connection between a brand and the audience.

I specialize in building scalable brand strategy and intelligent design.

Whether it’s crafting the initial conceptualization or defining user flows, my focus is always the bottom line; brand integrity and the experience. I keep an edge by augmenting my workflow with AI, moving beyond traditional methods and structuring my flow in a more efficient matter.

I engineer brand systems where purpose defines the aesthetic and strategy dictates the impact.

"Year End Harvest" beer label

Type

Tools
Adobe Fresco

While working at SEM Ltd., I had the pleasure of designing what was supposed to be a one-off seasonal beer for the Iron Rock Brewing Company based in Labrador City, NL, but it quickly became a fan favourite. This one was especially fun because I got to flex my illustration skills by using the watercolour brushes within Adobe Fresco. Pulling heavy inspiration from Mr. Van Gogh, I created a bright, warm illustration representing the delicious flavours of a wheat beer paired with apricot flavours.
