Twenty Dollar Pyramids w/ Tomie White, Dope Piece & Winnie Churchill (December 30, 2016)

This was my first live show poster for a band. Naturally, this is nearly every graphic designer's dream job.
This poster started out as an event poster project for school. I had heard of the band about a year prior to this and loved their music so I instantly had inspiration for what I wanted to do. I loved their smooth rock vibes and I was really impressed with the quality of the recordings, so I thought why not send it along as a piece of fan art at least?
They guys seemed to love it and asked me to use it for their EP release show that December.
I wanted to use a palette that consisted of what I would consider "dark, mysterious" colours with a strange contrast to each other.

Twenty Dollar Pyramids w/ Park Day & Rough Hands (June 22, 2018)

I had the honour of designing another poster for the band in 2018 for the release of their second EP, "Love Had Landed". They released a single, "Don't Leave", prior to the show so I used that as my inspiration for the concept. The stark contrast between the black background and the soft pink colours help focus the viewer on the important elements in the center and draws their focus downwards.
